Pontes Lommel, also known as Stuifduin, ensures a dignified farewell, respecting the last wishes of the deceased and in consultation with the funeral director and the next of kin. Our staff will arrange a cremation, a personal farewell ceremony in our auditoriums or a catered funeral meal in our coffee rooms.
Welcome to Pontes Lommel
In Flanders, a deceased person can be buried or cremated. Cremation can only take place in a crematorium. In our three crematoria, cremations are carried out in complete serenity by our experienced and trained staff.
After the cremation, we deliver the urn to the funeral director or the next of kin.
During a funeral ceremony, relatives, friends and acquaintances can pay their last respects to the deceased. This ceremony can take place at Pontes before the cremation (at the coffin) or after the cremation (at the urn).
Even if cremation is not chosen, our auditoriums can be reserved for a farewell ceremony. Our auditoriums are open to everyone, regardless of belief or religion.
Pontes offers well-prepared, high-quality funeral meals. We offer various packages, with quality and service always being our top priority. Our coffee rooms are spacious and flexible, so that both small and large groups feel welcome.
All of Pontes' catering options are detailed in clear catering brochures. Even without a cremation or funeral service, a funeral meal is possible with us. Everyone is welcome in our rooms.
160 seats
(these can be combined to create 250 seats)
3 coffee rooms, each with a capacity of 78 people (can be combined to accommodate 225 people)
For people who are unable to attend the funeral service, the next of kin can request live streaming in advance.
An access code can then be used to log in remotely. This allows everyone to follow the funeral service live.
